The DSPIAE New Years set are a bit of a love letter from them and seem to be a genuine good faith set that includes more than is necessarily profitable for them. Whether it is or not, I don't know.

The set includes:
1. A nice box with a design on it - The lid closes with magnets.
2. ST-A 3.0 Nippers with a horse emblem and a red leather pouch (These are the same 'almost God hand' competitive nippers) - comes with an allan key for tuning the closure gap.
3. Special edition "Möbius" hand drill (NOT a pin vise) that only takes DSPIAE brand 3,175mm (1/8") bits. You can store 3 bits internally, inside the screw-off bottom.
4. 1 bit case with 6 tungsten-steel drill bits (1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5mm) - These bits have a cut bottom that slots into the drill and won't slip.
5. 1 "Chamfering tool" - This is a 4 in 1 tool that can screw apart with a center tube.
- Outer tools have chamfering '4-blade pencil sharpeners' (not actually for pencils) where you put a plastic rod inside and will make either a 90 or 60 degree bevel around the edge of it, depending on which end you use.
- 90 degree conical bit - This is for making a round flat bevel inside of a hole (to make them look nicer on model kits)
- 3mm spherical bit - This is for making a curved bevel inside of a hole or rounded cavities in general.
6. Also included is a 'fidget slider', which is two gold plated metal bits held together by magnets. As a genuine autist who fidgets, it's not that satisfying for me personally, but it's a nice little thing.

My thoughts:
The nippers are as good as the 3.0 ones and are very sharp, now with a horse.

It would have been nice if the hand drill had been a pin vise instead, since you tend to collect a lot of small drill bits that aren't DSPIAE's standard size (3,175mm (1/8"), however this is compatible with their other drill bits. The turning handle uses bearings and turns very smoothly.
The included bits are larger than the other ones I have and a key-lock, which is nice.

For me the conical and spherical bits are interesting and I will probably use them to add detail to some model kits, though I'd probably have more use for a smaller spherical bit.

The box itself has cut-out slots for each tool, which I pulled out. Despite it being glued in several places, the box remained largely intact and I could use the top foam layer as a replacement for the bottom, to use the box for more tools.

For me personally the difference in price for a new pair of nippers and this set was worth it. The hand drill wasn't necessary, but it's much nicer than the one I have with a screw to hold in the bits and has a screw-on cap instead.
The outer chamfering bits are very circumstantial - You can use them to make 'buttons' by sharpening a rod and then cutting off the end, as decorative part that you glue on, but that's about it.
The fidget slider is a bonus toy or small decoration - It's a 'nice to have' thing that they didn't have to include.

It's a great kit worth the price, but if the things included aren't anything you need or want, then wait and see what they offer next year.
