Hajime Katoki redesigned all the Gundam Wing Gundam mobile suits for Endless Waltz, the OVA/movie successor of the Gundam Wing show, of which the Wing Zero(EW) is from and is one of the most recognizable Gundams from the franchise.
A “Ver.Ka” kit is one that’s been redesigned by him, a “version Katoki” kit, meaning this is is a model kit of a design that he made, redesigned by himself, making this a ‘double Ver.Ka kit’.
Trivia aside, this is probably the best version of the EW Wing Zero you can get.
I recommend looking up a review video, but basically it does everything as well as the others, but better.
The legs are especially impressive in how they’re designed to split open and segment when articulated.
The “C” clips on the rifles that hold the two parts together can be fragile (mine bent and the whole thing is floppy), this is unfortunately something that just happens with what is a small connecting piece that has to flex when attached and sometimes the plastic bends or breaks.
I can only advise to be careful and snap it on decisively when you make the rifles.
The wings are great, they’re really expressive and have a bunch of articulation and posability. There are a few obvious seam lines which might bother some. The rifles pack up and can be stored on the inside of the wings.
I recommend getting a base to properly display the model kit in all its glory, as this deserves to soar!
